Our Approch

Background

Practical Work Experience & Training

Why are students only offered internships or practical experience upon completing their higher institution learning programs? I believe this narrative or approach is misguided, as students should be exposed to the practical aspect of learning as early as their second year of study. At Connect-Dots, we firmly believe that higher education institutions should collaborate with private and/or public companies to provide students with practical applications of their studies. Connect-Dots will also offer entry-level training programs necessary for the smooth transition of these students into workplaces or entrepreneurial endeavors. We at Connect-Dots are dedicated to ensuring collaboration so that when students graduate, they are prepared for the workplace or entrepreneurship. The CEO of Connect-Dots is not only passionate about this program but also has firsthand experience of how it transformed her life. She understands the benefits it can provide to students, graduates, and employers alike.

Student Shelter and Student Accomodation

The CEO has been deeply affected by the plight of students who are forced to sleep on streets, in libraries, or in buildings within higher institutions due to their lack of sorted accommodation funding or inability to secure permanent lodging. Many of these students, predominantly from rural areas with limited resources, find themselves stranded and vulnerable. Providing a temporary solution at the beginning of the academic year will ensure these students experience a smoother transition into tertiary education, promoting a safer environment for their new journey. Additionally, Connect Dots will address the shortage of student accommodation in South Africa by offering suitable lodging options tailored to the needs of higher education students.
